Of all the upgrades I've done to my Tippmann, this is one of the few products that actually delivers on what it promises, although this product is not really a necessity unless you use a light weight bolt. A stock Tippmann should have sufficient velocity without using these springs, but you can use these various springs to help adjust the ball velocity if you have the desire to.

overall good product i was able to use the right combonation of the springs to get a very consistent and low recoil shot every time. overall satisfied with product.
not a total waste of money
