Easy installation.  Just screw it on.  The barrel moves freely (although snug) inside the hand guards so you can screw the barrel in while the handguard slides on to the gun.

The new TACAMO AK-47 Barrel kit with wooden hand gaurds features the new removeable barrel. Simply grab the sight, turn, and the barrel unscrews from the marker while the handgaurds and sight stay in place.

15" Barrel Length

Project Salvo / Sierra One: Not compatible because the Salvo has a built in picatinny rail on the top of the gun that gets in the way.
98 Custom Platinum Series: Will work the PS but you have to remove the picatinny rail from the top of the gun.

Will not Fit the Project Salvo December 6, 2011

Because top of this barrel kit extends back towards the gun it won't fit on the Project Salvo whose body has the picatinny rails built in to it.
It will fit on to the 98 Custom Platinum Series, but you have to take off the removable picatinny rail.
