Ok...kinda November 2, 2012
Reviewer: Rich from Chicago, IL United States
It worked well when I was testing it out at my house but when I got to the field it wasn't the same for some reason. Kept going full auto so I had to put original stuff back in.  Needs lots if trial and error plus no directions   The major down side to me is that the pins seems kind of short compared to the ones in my carver  not sure if that will cause problems or not

Hard to figure out, does make a difference. June 7, 2012
Reviewer: Teej from LS, IA United States
After trying to install this kit into my Salvo and having issues I went back to stock pins. I ended up figuring out how to use the kit and reinstalled it, right this time.
My Salvo has the e-trigger kit, and the cyclone.
So with the e-trigger I notice it does make a bit of a difference. Ive set it up so I have the size 3 pin in the trigger, making it hard as crap to pull (which is okay, considering I have a fully auto capable trigger kit anyway) I also have the largest one size 5? in the sear making it barely bight on the sear, making for a quick release once the trigger is pulled.
All in all after having some problems and figuring out what pins I should use where, it did make a notable difference and does give my trigger and marker a more custom feel. So now my marker has a trigger and sear that are exactly as resistant as I would like them to be.

Expert Staff Review February 16, 2012
Reviewer: Daniel - Staff
With your mechanical Tippmann marker there will be a noticeable difference in the trigger pull and crispness compared to the stock pins. The Hairpin Kit's wider pin above the trigger return slide adjusts the trigger travel while the pin contacting the sear adjusts trigger slop and the sensitivity of the sear on the hammer. Although every marker has its own quirks, most mechanical Tippmanns will generally not use the largest of the two pins because they are more likely to cause the "Accidental Full-Auto" effect, meaning your marker will be more comfortable using the 1 and 2 sized hair pins.

When the techT Kit is used with an electronic grip the results are easier to see. The pin above the trigger return slide acts in the same way but the effect is amplified by the E-Grip's micro switch which already gives it an incredibly short trigger pull. In the same way the effects of the pin contacting the sear are amplified by giving the user shorter dwell settings and longer battery life.

need after market trigger April 7, 2009

I couldn't notice a significant enough of a difference with this product vs. the stock pins in my e-grip. I think perhaps an aftermarket trigger like tech t's fang trigger is needed to truly appreciate this. I didn't know this so i didn't order one with it.
