Through the years, the Tippmann Model 98 became the trusted paintball gun for paintball fields and millions of players around the world. Tippmann finally updated the Model 98 to the new Tippmann Platinum Series giving it new features, more simplified servicing with easier disassembling and reassembling while retaining all the features you fell in love with. The Tippmann 98 Platinum Series keeps the standard features of a durable aluminum die cast receiver body, quick release feeder elbow for quick cleaning, 200 round hopper, and the famous ACT (anti-chop technology) bolt. With the Tippmann 98 Platinum Series, you can have the peace of mind knowing you own a Tippmann.

Updated split receiver design for easier installation of upgrades and modifications while also allowing easier access to the internals.
The trigger pins have been redesigned along with the front sight spring making it even easier to service your paintball gun and reassemble.
The all new power tube design features a self sealing and self locking gas lone which eliminates the need for the 2 side screws on previous designs.
New full depth pocket for the ASA which eliminates the need to remove the ASA when disassembling your paintball gun decreasing the time it takes to service.
The barrel has all new porting which will increase gas efficiency while the new matte finish will reduce the glare.
New top Picatinny rail makes it even easier to add on all your favorite tactical accessories such as scopes and carrying handles.
The vertical fore grip has added texture for a more secure feel while the new design improves stability so you can fire more accurately.
The new rear end cap has a sling mount built in for attaching a variety if different slings.
