Tippmann has redesigned the A-5 for 2011 adding several new features to improve the marker’s already notable reliability, accuracy and ease-of-maintenance. To begin, a new Cyclone Feed System now allows a feed rate of 15 balls per second without any need for batteries. Tippmann has added an 8.5 inch high-performance stone-honed barrel for increased accuracy and noise reduction. A new lower-profile loader offers enhanced sighting capabilities while a larger fore-grip, lighter receiver and removable front sling mounts improve the marker’s balance, feel and maneuverability. The A-5`s new Tombstone Connections and wider internal bore allow for faster field stripping and easier maintenance. The new external selector switch allows players to more easily switch from safety to firing modes and a new black heavy-duty gasline adds to the marker`s stealth appearance and durability.
