This upgrade is exactly as advertised! Burned through 2 cases of paint with the Cyclone hopper, and only sprayed (splattered the ball in the chamber) twice. And, as expected from Tippman, even after spraying, it shot fine after a quick squeegee.

It is great, but paintballs sure go fast. Way cool.

Look into the Virtue board

If you just want a board with average settings and you are an average paintball player who doesn't want to spend an extra 20 dollars this board is the right one for you. If you want the best US Army board on the market right now I would personally advise spending an extra 20 for the Virtue board. I would have got that and still will in the future but when I ordered this board I was unaware the Virtue would work on my Salvo. So now I'm stuck with an average board with great features including semi auto, 3 shot burst, and 2 fully auto modes. Its not a bad board I'm just saying there's a better one out there. Most recently I took apart my salvo to add some upgrades and pinched the 9v clamp between the clam shell when reassembling it, that broke the negative lead off, luckily I had a spare 9v clamp that I soldered on. That was my own stupidity but be aware the kit is hard to get to stay in while assembling and the long wire of the 9v clamp can create problems so just pay close attention.
