The Tippmann H.E. E-Grip for the A5 is a change over the E-grip which was offered by Tippmann through 2008. The HE E-grip trigger is magnetically activated using the Hall-Effect which allows it to fire as many as 20 balls-per-second. This magnetic system means the trigger will not wear out easily. The H.E. Trigger comes with an external selector switch, much like the Tippmann X7E. The last upgrade with this trigger is the rear door for accessing the 9 volt battery. No more will you need to take your A5 apart to change the battery. Although your cyclone feed will limit your gun to 20 balls per second, this trigger can be set to rates as high as 30 balls per second. (now why would you want to do that?---but if you do, call us, we will set you up for bulk paint pricing.)
The Tippmann A5 E-Grip has an External Selector Switch with three positions, Safe, Single fire, and programmable position. This allows you to change the way your A5 shoots with just a flip of a switch. The A5 E-Grip has five special firing modes, one of which can be assigned to the FA position on the external switch.
