I purchased this hopper for my X-7 so that I could add optics to the top rail without any obstructions to my view, also the large capacity of the loader would be a +. When I received the loader I had my doubts because it is not very well made and the rubber cap or view window just did not stay on very well. I decided to go ahead and give it a shot anyway and sure enough after my first round the rubber cap caught on something and fell off,luckily my marker was pointing down and I did not loose any ammo but I could not find the cap at first and had to get in the game for the next round so I had to swap to my old hopper. I later found the cap and with the addition of some electrical tape I was able to use this hopper without any further issues. All in all it is a passable hopper the lids a little week but the window does give you an idea of when you need to reload especially if you are going full auto. In retrospect not sure if it is worth the price tag for the quality that you receive.

At first I thought it kind of a gimmick with the clearish lid on the back of the hopper. I mean it's easy enough to just shake your gun a bit or move it up and down to feel/hear how many paintballs you have left. If you've been playing awhile then this can be fairly accurate. What I didn't think about was when I was sneaking up on my opponents flank and wanted to make sure I had enough loaded up for my next barrage. I had done a lot of sneaking and din't want to give away my position. Just a quick glance let me know I was good to go without making a lot of noise. This is my go to hopper now.

Honestly I should have went on to get the bigger one (450rd) hopper because I was worried about being heavy, I am a big guy so this hopper full was still very light weight and low profile. If I had the bigger one I wouldn't have to tote around any pods. Might upgrade to a bigger one just for mobility. Downside to this hopper is the crappy lid. It doesn't have a spring in it and is a little loose fitting, also it can't be seperated because it's a solid casting of plastic so no modding it later. I popped out the lid to see if I could change it, I'll probably just end up painting it black , Don't know if they make an after market lid but a different color would make it less visible when popping up over something.
