Tippmann 98 Feed Elbow and Hopper Upgrades Buying Guide
Cyclone Feed Systems
- Cyclone feeds are a great way to get a more consistent feed from your hopper. Cyclone feed systems use a little bit of the air when your marker is fired, this air is used to spin the cyclone feed system one turn, which feeds one ball. It always feeds a single ball for each shot, meaning a more consistent fire rate. If you already have an A-5 cyclone feed system, you can get the RPM Adapter Kit for A-5 cyclone feeds to attach it to your 98. If you need the full upgrade kit, we carry that as well.
Upgraded Feed Necks
- While there is certainly nothing wrong with the stock feed elbow, upgraded ones are nice. You have two options here, either an upgraded aluminum feed neck, or a clear plastic elbow. The aluminum feed necks will improve its durability substantially. Clear elbows make it easier to see when you are out of paint, and let you know when to reload.
Mag Fed Kits
- Magazine fed kits can transform your Tippmann 98 into a clip fed marker. Mag-Fed play is the most realistic type of paintball for mil-sim players. Tippmann has their own kit, that is an easy to install and remove system, that will take your 98 to the next level. Tacamo also produces magazine fed conversions kits, theirs are a little more intense, as they replace a lot of your old 98 receivers, and give it a full facelift.
