The Magazine Feed Conversion Adapter for 98 Custom is the easiest way to get into a magfed game. This adapter works on the Tippmann 98, Project Salvo, and Alpha Black. It is installed by removing the hopper elbow and replacing it with the magazine adapter so you can easily switch back and forth between magfed or hopper fed. It can be installed in seconds and comes with two 7-round magazines. If the 7-round magazines are not enough for you, there are also 12-round magazines, as well as the 20 round Zetamags that will work with this system. With this simple, yet effective design, you can just as easily switch back to hopper play if needed. (NOTE: This system does NOT work on carver ones, due to their feed elbows being different.)
Tippmann 98 Magazine Fed Adapter Unboxing and Installation - Video Transcript
Introduction:
Hello. This is Clayton from Tippmann Parts. Today, I'm going to be doing a video on the new Tippmann Mag-Fed Adaptors for the 98 Customs. These will also work on the U.S. Army Markers that use the standard quick-release feed elbow just like the 98's. The Carver Ones, unfortunately, won't work with that because they have a little bit different of a feed elbow.
Unboxing:
Okay. So, first, we're going to be doing the unboxing portion. So, as we have here is the packaging. Nice packaging, very well constructed, lots of info about the product. So, let's go ahead and dive in here. And, inside, you'll notice that it comes with the actual adapter. These adapters were partially designed by Stark Pursuit, the makers of the popular 20 round ZetaMag. Then, also included in the packaging are two true-feed seven ball magazines. So, that's everything that comes in the packaging. Right here on the packaging it tells you what all it works with, which we went over already. And, then, also there are the installation instructions. +
Installation:
So, we're going to go ahead and now show you how to transform your 98 from the standard hopper fed to the new magazine fed. So, the first step to turning your 98 into a mag-fed marker is just to remove the standard hopper elbow from your 98. To do that, just click the release here, and press down on it, and you can slide off the feed elbow, and pull it right off. So, now that we have that step done, we're going to take the adapter piece and we're going to line up the pins with the side of the 98 like the feed elbow went in. And, then, we're just going to click it into place. That locks it in. It's nice and secure on the side of the gun now. The only thing left for us to do is load up our paintballs into our magazine. Let me go ahead and slide it in.
Summary:
And this mag-fed adapter kit will use the true seven balls that they come with. It'll also work with the true 12 ball extended mags that Tippmann has, as well as the 20 round ZetaMax from Stark. I'll get you an idea of what it looks like with the 20 round on there. So, again, this is just a video on the new Mag-Fed Adapter kits from Tippmann. They're selling like wildfire right now and we have them available. Thanks.
