Tippmann A5 and X7 End Caps
Q: Which Tippmann End Cap Do I Need?
A: If you have an A5, get a 02-EC. If you have an X7, get a TA10044. Read on below if you want a little more information than that. :)
A5 End Caps
02-EC End Cap Assembly with Bumper
This is the newer end cap design for the 2011 and later A5's. But, it is also backwards compatible with all A5's. 2011+ end cap assembly that includes the TA01015 End Cap along with the bumper. Replaces the older 02-ECM (metal).
TA01015 End Cap Only, No Bumper
This end cap is included with the 02-EC end cap assembly. The old 02-ECM (Metal) version no longer exists. All guns need the bumper. This is just the cap only if you sill have your bumper.
TA01014 Bumper Only
Also called an impact washer
02-ECM Metal End Cap
Discontinued and replaced by the 02-EC End Cap Assembly. Time to upgrade!
X7 End Caps
TA10044 End Cap Assembly with Bumper
This is the new single piece composite end cap that has replaced the multi-piece assembly.
The old X-7 End Caps consisted of a cap, bushing, and snap ring. This collection of 3 parts has been replaced by the TA10044 End Cap Assembly (composite). It is backwards compatible to all X7's.
- TA10004or TA10050 (Depending on the diagram) End Cap - Discontinued and no longer available as of February 2011. Time to upgrade to the current End Cap Assembly TA10044.
- TA10037 or TA10057 (Depending on the diagram) End Cap Bushing - Discontinued and no longer available. Time to upgrade to the current End Cap Assembly TA10044.
- TA10032 End Cap Snap Ring - Discontinued but still available individually as of 1/12/2015. Or you can upgrade this whole end cap to the new TA10044 End Cap Assembly.
TA10038 End Cap Only, No Bumper
This is the newer single piece composite end cap, but just the end cap only. No bumper. It's #11 on the X7 Phenom Mechanical diagram. All guns need the bumper. This is just the cap only if you sill have your bumper.
TA01014 Bumper Only
Also called an impact washer

The bumpers on the 02-EC (for A5) and the TA10044 (for X7) are the same and can be interchanged as needed. TA01014 Bumper Only
