Outstanding. For anyone confused heres a pretty good analogy. If your effective range was up to 75 feet before the flatline, your effective range after the flatline will be more like 125-150. This does NOT increase your accuracy.
Some complain of shots flying high right after exiting the barrel. this illusion is caused by not having a front and rear rail mounted sight. the one on the barrel/shroud is "asthetic" only and has minimal functionality.
My only complaint is that the barrel takes away from a salvos AR style and takes it right into m4-m16 ville, while also taking away your rail freedom.
tippman if youre paying attention, make a us army edition flatline with a good picatinny shroud and a spring loaded dowel *like the fixed dowel on the stock salvo shroud* to to allow for under barrel mounting and flatline performance, while keeping the stability of the stock barrel and shroud. (everything aftermarket but a flatline wiggles in a salvo without the shroud/tape mod)

I wish I could give this barrel 6 stars, but, 5 will have to do. it truly does exactly what it says it does. it really adds at least 100 feet of distance to your marker, with no decrease in accuracy! Phenomenal product that I recommend to anyone with a 98 that wants more range.

This barrel really increases your range to levels people don't know until you've hit them.
You must use higher quality paint for it to work properly though. I was using Monster brand paint originally and didn't notice anything. After speaking to the owner of my local paintball store, I tried PWI Bombz, night and day. People were amazed at what this thing could do. I did not notice a drop in accuracy the further I went out.

Easy to install, no tuning needed, no loss in accuracy - just use fresh, round paint or you'll see some wild curves! I've played half a dozen games with the new Flatline on my 98 Custom and am loving it! I'm keeping the bad guys' heads down from well outside their range, and tagging them out from 30 to 50 further than before. The only problem is my shots closer than 50 feet - where I used to aim for the chest, because of the backspin that same shot now whacks them in the face mask. Most impressive! Oh darn!
